How to split or merge DVD

When you buy a DVD or made DVD by yourself, you may just want some segments of your DVD video. Or, you want to combine the several short videos into one video. Now I will introduce you good ways of how to split DVD file to several segments and how to merge several titles into one video.

Part 1: how to merge severl titiles into one video
Step 1: load DVD movies: Insert the DVD disc into the DVD Drive. Click the Open DVD button, browse your computer, find the DVD folder of the movie and open it.
Step 2: Merge your DVD files
A DVD may have multiple titles and each title contains one or more chapters. After your DVD movie is loaded, its contents will be listed. Click “+” to show the chapters in a title. Then you can select the chapters or titles you want to convert.

Click the white box before “merge into one file” to merge your selected titles into one video, choose the right profile for your output videos.
Step 3: Click “convert” button and within few minutes you will get one video combined from the several video titles or chapters.

Part 2: how to split DVD files into several segments
Step 1: load DVD movies as above: Insert the DVD disc into the DVD Drive. Click the Open DVD button, browse your computer, find the DVD folder of the movie and open it.
Step 2: split your DVD file
One DVD file contains several titles or chapters. Select any chapter or title to convert, then you will get the video segment of this title or chapter from the whole DVD file.
Or you may trim your video with trim function to get any segment.
Click the trim button and you may see the trim window. You can move the slide below the screen or enter the start time and end time on the right to get any segment of the video. The blue line part are the video you will get. Choose the right profile for your output videos.

Step 3: click convert button and you will get the segment you trimed from your DVD file.
